Green Beans Almondine

Ingredients

2 Tbsp olive oil

1 Tbsp garlic, minced

¼ cup slivered almonds

2 Tbsp water

1 lb. green beans, trimmed

½ teaspoon pepper

½ teaspoon salt

 

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a pan on medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant and slightly translucent. Add green beans, salt, and pepper to the pan.

2. Sauté green beans and garlic for 1-2 minutes. Add water, cover, and steam on low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3. Remove cover, add almonds, and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until liquid has evaporated from the pan.

4. Serve as a delicious side dish with your favorite meat of choice!
